Get your glow on this spring! Exfoliating skin re Get your glow on this spring!

Exfoliating skin removes dead skin cells, revealing healthy, glowing, soft skin underneath.

Exfoliation is simple and scrubs can be made right at home with natural ingredients. Store bought scrubs can get costly and they’re certainly not chemical free.

This coffee scrub is one of my favorites to date - and also works wonders on facial skin!

INGREDIENTS
* 1/2 C Coconut Oil
* 1/2 C Ground Coffee
* 1 C Granulated Sugar
* 1/4 C Sweet Almond Oil
* 1-2 tbsp Vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and coffee. Mix together until well incorporated.
Next, add the coconut oil and mix. I like to use either my hands or a potato masher to get the coconut oil to mix well with the dry ingredients.
Then add sweet almond oil and vanilla extract, mix in and place into your favorite jar.
Enjoy!

Spring is desperately trying to spring here at Sim Spring is desperately trying to spring here at Simply Rooted Farmhouse. Our crocuses are in full bloom, and our first Daffodil popped open today!

Yet tonight the temperatures will be in the twenties, and we're craving these sourdough cinnamon buns cooked in the cast iron pan.

Sourdough has certainly kept me busy this winter, and I learned a lot about sourdough, baking, cast iron and my oven. As the seasons change, I will continue to experiment with new sourdough recipes but the main focus will shift to the vegetable garden.

What hobbies do you have during the different seasons?
